Rural modernization is the foundation and characteristic of Chinese-style modernization,and is an inherent require-ment and necessary condition for building an agricultural power.On the new journey,significant progress in rural infrastructure,rural public services,the living environment,the rural governance system,etc.,has been made in the modernization of Chinese-style rural areas,but there is still a gap from the requirements for rural modernization development,equalization of urban and rural public services,harmonious rural areas,and practical and effective governance methods respectively.The goal positioning of promoting the modernization of Chinese-style rural areas is to adhere to the principle of building rural areas for farmers,pro-moting rural development through industrial revitalization,adhering to practical and innovative rural governance,and deepening rural reform to activate rural development vitality.To solidly promote the modernization of Chinese-style rural areas on the new journey,we need to promote the integrated development of urban and rural resources and public services in the integration of ur-ban and rural areas at the county level,scientifically plan rural construction and continuously improve the livability level of rural areas in the rural revitalization strategy,improve and innovate the rural governance system in promoting the modernization of governance system and governance capacity,and promote the construction of civilized rural customs and traditions in strengthe-ning the construction of socialist spiritual civilization.
