With the digitization of capitalism,information networks have penetrated all aspects of society in unprecedented ways and scales,making the cultural industry the focal point of global economic development.Although capitalism still exploits space for global expansion and reestablishing of power,its focus has shifted from the production and reproduction of urban space to the deployment control,and reconstruction of cyberspace.Using cinematic metaphor as basic grammar,a new organization form,li-festyle,and mode of production and exploitation has formed,focusing on general data.With the digitization of capitalism,Marxist critique of capitalism nowadays needs to manifest a"cyberspatial turning,"centering on film criticism.Hence,the cyber-spatial turning of Marxist film criticism represents a pathway for deciphering the"aphasia"in neoliberal film theories amidst the digital capitalist era.It embodies Marxist self-aware response to the challenges of the era and underscores the imperative for left-ist thinkers to maintain a posture of struggle.
