Study on the Spatial Narrative of Wang Xufeng's"Tetrology of Tea Man"
Wang Xufeng's"Tetralogy of Tea Man"reconstructs the grand narrative of the novel, showcasing the ups and downs of the fate of the Hangzhou family of tea man in Zhejiang for a hundred years. This paper aims to analyze the spatial narrative characteristics of the"Tetrology of Tea Man"through spatial narrative theory:using physical spaces such as"Forgetting Worries Tea House"and West Lake as carriers, daily life, war, and political change form a social space. As a private mansion,"Forget-ting Worries Tea Garden"undertakes the narrative function of"homestead",maintaining the family memory and personal sub-jectivity.From the dream of Hang Tianzui and Lin Wangyou's identification that the"old white tea tree"is himself, the con-struction of psychological space is accessible and reveals the philosophical thinking of the"Four Tetralogy of Tea Man"and the profound connotation of tea culture.
