Li Cunguang's research on Ba Jin began in 1963 and has been ongoing for over 60 years.Three research areas have long been focused by Li Cunguang,namely the documentation and research of literature about Ba Jin,the research on Ba Jin's life activities and biography writing,and the study on Ba Jin's creation and the research history of Ba Jin.With regards to the documentation and research of literature about Ba Jin,he achieved the greatest achievements of contemporary times and devel-oped his own characteristics in the study of Ba Jin's biography.Moreover,his entire academic process not only participated in the evolution of Ba Jin's research,but also shaped the form of Ba Jin's research history.Indeed,he is a researcher of Ba Jin,as well as a witness and shaper of Ba Jin research.
