Synthesis and Cell Imaging of a 2-(2-Hydroxyphenyl)Benzothiazole-Based Near Infrared Lipid Droplets Fluorescence Probe
A near-infrared fluorescence probe LD-YK was synthesized by the condensation reaction using 2-(2-hydroxyphenyl)benzothiazole as the parent with dicyanoisophorone, which was characterized by 1 H NMR spectroscopy. The photophysical properties of probe LD-YK were studied by UV-vis absorption spectrum and fluorescence emission spectrum. The results demonstrated that the maximum fluorescence emission wavelength of probe LD-YK in different solvents exceeded 650 nm,which belonged to the near infrared region and had a large Stokes shift. The cell experiment results showed that the probe LD-YK had low cytotoxicity and could target lipid droplets within the cell.
