Research Progress on the Response of Nodulin Genes in Plants to Biotic and Abiotic Stresses
Nodulin gene was first discovered in the interaction between leguminous plants and rhizobia, which is responsible for the organogenesis and nitrogen fixation of rhizobia in leguminous plants.Subsequently,it was found that the nodulin genes played an important role in drought resistance, salt tolerance and pathogen interaction in non-leguminous plants, indicating that the genes also played a significant role in plants to biotic and abiotic stresses. In this paper, the classification of nodulin genes and their functions in plants under biotic and abiotic stresses were reviewed, which will provide a theoretical basis for the functional research of nodulin genes and recommend new ideas for the exploration of biotic and abiotic stress-resistant genes in plants.
