Application of Neuroelectrophysiological Techniques in Classification and Diagnosis of Patients with Disorder of Consciousness
Some patients with disorder of consciousness have hidden consciousness.Relying solely on behavior scales will have a high misdiagnosis rate,so that how to accurately diagnose and classify the level of consciousness is still a great clinical challenge. With the assistance of electrophysiology technology, the detection rate of hidden consciousness could be significantly improved, laying a solid foundation for making clinical intervention decisions. This review focused on the applications of central and peripheral nerve electrophysiology techniques in the hierarchical diagnosis of disorder of consciousness, taking sensitivity and other indicators as the main conclusions. The paradigms and analysis methods with great application potential were sorted out, which was convenient for clinicians to use and promote.
