Short Video Addiction:A New Type of Internet Addiction
Short video addiction refers to a new type of behavioral addiction in which the physical,psychological and social functions are significantly impaired due to the negative psychological dependence on short videos and the difficulty in self-control to watch short videos excessively.In order to deeply understand the concept of short video addiction and its relationship with internet addiction,explore the mechanism of short video addiction and its prevention and intervention measures,this paper systematically reviews the research status of short video addiction from the aspects of concept definition,measurement methods,and influencing factors(technical,individual and environmental factors).It is pointed out that further research can be carried out from the perspectives of clarifying the concept and diagnostic standard of short video addiction,enriching the research paradigm and perspective,expanding the research object and field,strengthening the prevention and intervention of short video addiction,and exploring the cognitive neural basis of short video addiction.
