Editor's Note:In order to better ground regional cultural development and deepen the research on aspects such as the spirit of loyalty and righteousness in Water Margin culture,patriotism,and the elegant character of peo-ny culture,Heze University and the Shandong Water Margin Research Association jointly hosted the academic fo-rum on"Inheritance and Innovation of Southwestern Shandong Culture from the Perspective of New Humanities"from September 15th to 17th,2023.More than 70 experts and scholars from over 20 universities and research insti-tutions within and outside the province participated in the forum.Below are selected abstracts from speeches deliv-ered by several experts and scholars for the enjoyment of readers.
