摘要
《水浒传》中的阎婆虽有"灵心妙舌",善于"花言巧语",但她并未干任何伤天害理的事,在古代老年妇女中,她突出的特征是精明、能干、世俗;她对女儿阎婆惜的溺爱失教,为日后的悲剧埋下了祸根;她投亲无着,异乡漂泊,老年丧偶,女儿惨死却又不得伸冤,其悲惨的处境实在可怜可叹.
Abstract
Although Yan Po in The Water Margin had clever mind and a flexible tongue with blandishments,she did not do anything harmful.Among elderly women in old time,her prominent characteristics were shrewdness,competence,and secularity.Her indulgence and lack of education towards her daughter Yan Poxi had laid the foundation for subsequent tragedies.She had no relatives to rely on,wandering in strange places as an aged widow,and her daughter died tragically without receiving justice.Her tragic situation was truly pitiful.
