Effect of Raw-material Granularity on Piezoelectric Properties of(K,Na)NbO3 Based Ceramics
Raw materials are the foundation for preparing high-quality ceramics, and their particle size and uniformity is a part of the constraints for preparation. This article uses the method of pre-ball-milling of raw materials to effectively reduce particle size, and compares the effects before and after pre-ball-mill-ing on the morphology of mixed powders and the piezoelectric properties of ceramic samples. The results show that the particle size of the pre-ball-milling raw material mixture powder is smaller and more evenly dispersed than that of the untreated mixture. And thus the maximum piezoelectric constant d33 of the(K0.45 Na0.55)0.98Li0.02Nb0.76Ta0.18Sb0.06O3 ceramics is increased from 345 pC/N to 393 pC/N.
