In the new era,opportunities and challenges coexist in the development of Human Geogra-phy and Urban-rural Planning Specialty,and strengthening professional construction is of great signifi-cance.In response to the problems of vague professional positioning,unreasonable curriculum system,outdated teaching mode,single assessment and evaluation methods,and lack of practical teaching links,Heze University has carried out a series of reforms in specialty development positioning,specialty curricu-lum system,teaching mode,assessment and evaluation methods,faculty team construction,experimental and practical link setting,and education and teaching management.A new system of"one goal,three re-forms,five strengthening,and three promotion"has been established,greatly enhancing the innovative spirit and practical ability of talents in Human Geography and Urban-rural Planning Specialty,and the practical application effect is good.
