The Path of Ideological and Political Education Practice in Foreign Language Curriculum in View of the Strategy of Constructing a Powerful Nation of Education——A Case Study of iEnglish Integrated Course-Basic II
Foreign language courses use language and culture as carriers to cultivate students'cross-cultural awareness,critical spirit,patriotism and international perspective.The ideological and political education in foreign language courses is the fundamental guarantee for implementing the goal of cultivating morality and talents,and re-alizing the strategy of constructing a powerful nation in education.Textbooks are the main channel for ideological and political education in courses.Taking iEnglish Integrated Course-Basic II as an example,this paper explores the practical path of ideological and political education in courses to achieves the goal of language education,by means of exploring the ideological and political elements of textbooks,integrating real-life ideological and political topics,empowering language learning with information technology,establishing a research and teaching communi-ty,and constructing an integrated education system of teaching-learning-evaluation.
