Caoxian Shadow Puppetry is an important local branch of Chinese Shadow Puppetry art.After over 300 years of accumulation and inheritance,it has condensed profound cultural heritage and artistic essence.How-ever,with the changes of the times and advances in technology,the inheritance and development of traditional Ca-oxian Shadow Puppetry faces some challenges,such as a narrow audience,and outdated performance forms and content.Therefore,it is necessary to revitalize traditional art for the successful realization of comprehensive rural revitalization,by building a healthy inheritance ecology,creating shadow puppetry forms,strengthening digital technology application,promoting market development and industrialization,and increasing government support.
