Strategic adjustments for international Chinese teachers in response to ChatGPT
In response to the rapid development of new technologies,the strategic adjustments for international Chinese teachers were explored on how to adapt their strategies to the rapid changes in artificial intelligence in education.Based on the application of intelligent language models such as ChatGPT in international Chinese education,the questionnaire was analyzed to understand the views and experiences of international Chinese teachers on ChatGPT technology,focusing on basic attitudes,teaching applications and challenges encountered in use.The results reveal the real-world dilemma of international Chinese teachers in the application of ChatGPT.Accordingly,the ways for teachers to deal with ChatGPT are proposed:improve digital literacy,strengthen the emotional connection between teachers and students,establish the concept of lifelong learning,develop higher-order thinking ability,and deeply explore culture.The results of this study are of positive significance for helping international Chinese teachers better adapt to the rapidly changing educational environment and sharpen their competitive edge in the field of international Chinese education.
