Practical research on integrating curriculum ideological and political education into English textbook illustrations—A case study on teaching of iExplore English Course
The construction of curriculum ideological and political education in English textbook illustrations was highlighted by probing into how to integrate curriculum ideological and political education into textbook illustrations of iExplore English Course through classroom practice,intended to explore new ways to cultivate professional talents characterized with profound national identity,broad international vision and comprehensive application ability.First,the literature review sorted out the current situation of illustration teaching of college foreign language textbooks;second,concepts,steps and paths were summarized to integrate curriculum ideological and political education into textbook illustrations;finally,classroom practice was implemented to verify its feasibility and actual effects.Two years'classroom practice has explored three practical paths of integrating curriculum ideological and political education into English textbook illustrations,i.e.,image generating image,text generating image,and text-image generating image,which has achieved certain institutional,ideological and practical innovations,and has proved certain promotional value and social benefit of moral education in textbook illustrations,which can provide a practical reference on foreign languages teaching reform at the background of curriculum ideological and political education.
