Objective To analyze the effect of emergency uterine artery embolization(UAE)on coagulation and reproductive function of patients with postpartum hemorrhage. Methods 120 patients with postpartum hemorrhage admitted to the emergency department of our hospital were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group, with 60 cases in each group. The control group was treated with carboprost tromethamine injection, while the observation group was treated with UAE.The coagulation function, reproductive function(ovarian artery blood flow signal),and incidence of adverse events were compared and evaluated between the two groups. Results After intervention, the coagulation function indicators such as prothrombin time, activated partial thromboplastin time, fibrinogen, platelet count in the observation group were significantly improved, and these in the observation group was better than the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the peak pulse velocity in the observation group was significantly higher than the control group, and the RI values were significantly lower than the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse events in the observation group was significantly lower than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Emergency uterine artery embolization for patients with postpartum hemorrhage could maintain good ovarian artery blood flow signals, significantly improve coagulation function.
