Research on the microstructure and properties of 6082 aluminum alloy for oscillating laser-arc composite welding
For the 8 mm thick 6082 aluminum alloy, the effects of different welding methods on weld forming, porosity, microstructure and mechanical properties were studied in depth by using oscillating la-ser-arc composite welding technology. The results show that compared with single-sided welding,double-sided welding is not conducive to the escape of pores, but double-sided welding can improve the mechanical properties of welding seam by refining welding seam grains. In the central area of the welding seam, the metallographic structure is dominated by equiaxed grains, and the isometric grain size gradually decreases along the direction of plate thickness.Compared to the arc action zone in the upper part of the welding seam, the isometric grain size in the laser action zone at the bottom of the welding seam is reduced by 58%.Compared with single-sided welding, the equiaxed grain size of the welding seam is reduced by 31%,the tensile strength of the joint is increased by 7.1%,and the elongation is in-creased by 49.3%.
