Multi-agent Collaboration and Knowledge Transfer Performance in Innovation Ecosystem
Knowledge has gradually replaced traditional resources such as land and equipment, becoming the most valuable core element of enterprises, but it is difficult for enterprises to achieve self-sufficiency in knowledge resources. In order to en-sure the smooth development of innovation activities, enterprises need to constantly break the organizational boundary and carry out multi-agent collaboration through the construction of an innovation ecosystem to obtain external heterogeneous in-novation resources. However, most of the existing research has explored the direct effect of multi-agent collaboration on the performance of knowledge transfer based on the overall level, and there is a relative lack of research on the mediating mechan-ism and regulatory mechanism of the relationship between multi-agent collaboration and knowledge transfer performance.Based on open innovation theory and resource dependence theory, this study takes the middle and senior managers of high-tech enterprises as the survey object, constructs a theoretical model of multi-agent collaboration and knowledge transfer per-formance in innovation ecosystem by taking survey data in Beijing,Shanghai,Dalian and Shenyang as samples, and uses Spss 25.0 software to conduct multiple regression analysis and bootstrap method analysis to empirically test the influencing mechan-ism of multi-agent collaboration on knowledge transfer performance,as well as the mediating effect of knowledge co-creation and the moderating effect of inter-organizational dependence. The results of the study show that multi-agent collaboration positively influences knowledge co-creation,knowledge co-creation positively affects knowledge transfer performance, knowledge co-creation partially mediates the relationship between multi-agent collaboration and knowledge transfer performance, joint dependence positively moderates the relationship between multi-agent collaboration and knowledge transfer performance, and asymmetric dependence negatively moderates the relation-ship between multi-agent collaboration and knowledge transfer performance. In terms of theoretical contributions, the research conclusions extend from the bilateral cooperation relationship to the multilateral partnerships in the enterprise innovation ecosystems, gives a reasonable explanation for the relationship between multi-agent collaboration and knowledge transfer performance, analyzes the intrinsic mechanism and boundary conditions of the relationship between the two, better makes up the shortcomings of the existing researches on the antecedent variables of knowledge transfer performance, broaden the research scope of the multi-agent collaboration in the innovation ecosystem, and provides new theoretical ideas for the relationship between multi-subject collaboration and knowledge transfer performance. In terms of practical contributions, enterprises in the innovation ecosystem should give full play to the positive role of multi-agent cooperation, improve the ability of knowledge co-creation,strengthen the dependence between the main actors, and avoid asymmetric dependence,so as to provide new ideas for enterprises to carry out knowledge management and develop external cooperation strategies.
