Study on Effect of Partial Replacement of Fly Ash with Zeolite Powder on the Properties of Concrete
In order to explore the feasibility of using zeolite powder to replace fly ash as auxiliary cemenching material to prepare concrete, the working performance and mechanical properties of concrete mixed with zeolite powder were studied by using zeolite powder to partially replace fly ash.On the basis of suitable substitution rate, the effects of different water-cement ratios on its mechanical properties were studied. The results show that with the increase of substitution rate of zeolite powder, the slump of concrete decreases gradually. When the replacement rate of zeolite powder is less than or equal to 40%,the mechanical properties of concrete will be damaged in the early stage, but after 28 days of standard curing, the strength can meet the use requirements. When the substitution rate of zeolite powder reaches 60%,the 28 d mechanical properties of concrete decreases significantly. The substitution of fly ash by zeolite powder can improve the early toughness of concrete, but at the standard age,the substitution rate of more than 60%will lead to a slight decrease in the tensile compression ratio. The mechanical properties of the concrete replaced by fly ash by zeolite powder decreased with the increase of water-cement ratio, and the influence degree gradually weakened with the increase of age.
