The Sanfangqixiang Historical and Cultural District is known as the"Museum of Ming and Qing Dynasty Architecture",and there are many private gardens with Fuzhou characteristics.Based on the existing historical data of private gardens,the architectural typology method was used to analyze the spatial elements of private gardens in three lanes.Based on the research method of typolology,the spatial characteristics of private gardens were studied by identifying the elements,organization,form and atmosphere of the space,which were divided into three types of private gardens:class A,class B and class C.
