The hidden danger of ultra-low cycle fatigue failure of spatial grid structures directly threatens the safety performance of such buildings with tens of thousands of strong earthquakes.Based on OpenSEES finite element analysis software,the ultra-low cycle fatigue performance of 12 steel pipes with bolted ball joints at both ends under large displacement cyclic loading test was numerically simulated.The influence of joint influence,double nonlinearity and material fatigue damage on the hysteresis performance,mechanical index and energy dissipation performance of the round steel pipe rod with bolted ball joint is analyzed.The results show that the loading regime has a direct effect on the ultra-low cycle fatigue performance of the test components.The numerical simulation results are similar to the test results,and the fatigue damage constitutive method used can accurately describe the ultra-low cycle fatigue characteristics of the components.
