Experimental Study on the Production of Geopolymer Cementitious Materials Using Abandoned Mud from Bridge Pile Foundations
In order to treat abandoned mud from bridge pile foundations, industrial solid waste synergistic mud was used to produce geopolymer cementitious materials and improve their engineering performance.Based on the principle of orthogonal experimental design and referring to the cement sand test method, the influence of mud content, water solid ratio, and curing age on the strength of geopolymer cementitious materials was studied. The experimental results show that the 28 day compressive strength and flexural strength of the geopolymer cementitious material mixed with mud can reach 21.65 MPa and 4.11 MPa,respectively.Within the range of mud content of 30%~50%,water solid ratio of 0.35~0.55,and curing age of 28 days, the compressive and flexural strength of geopolymer cementitious materials are negatively correlated with mud content and water solid ratio, and positively correlated with curing age.
