Taking a hospital building in Tibet as an example,the paper discusses the existing multilayer frame structure reinforcement and reconstruction.Through the analysis and identification of the original structure,the problems of original structure were found that smaller stiffness,bearing capacity of deficiencies and its structure did not meet the requirements of the current specification.After the seismic reinforcement design of the parts that do not meet the requirements,the performance indexes of the reinforced building model are checked again.The results showed that the building model the indicators meet the requirement of the current specification.
