At present,it is difficult to achieve the effects of short wet working time,high load capacity and low reinforcement cost for the common reinforcement methods,so a technology of external prestressing of masonry structure is selected.The strain-load cycle curves of the unstressed model,the prestressed model on both sides of the gable and the prestressed model on the central side of the gable are obtained through load cycle test and destructive test.The results show that the application of prestress on both sides of gable wall has a good effect on the improvement of shear resistance and overall bearing capacity of single-storey masonry buildings.It is more economical and reasonable to use polyether sulfone epoxy composite coatings on prestressed tendons by comparing the properties of different fireproof and anticorrosive materials.
