Simulation of hydrodynamic performance of underwater vehicle and propulsion system
In order to obtain the hydrodynamic performance of the underwater vehicle and propulsion system,and grasp the effect of the underwater vehicle on the propeller,the hydrodynamic parameters such thrust and torque at different rota-tional speeds were numerically calculated based on the multi-domain mesh,moving mesh and mixed mesh method.The res-ults show that,due to the influence of underwater vehicle,the maximum propulsion efficiency of the single propeller is 50.79%,while that of the system is 42%.The thrust of system is smaller than that of the single propeller,and the difference value increases with the increase of the rotational speed.The thrust decrement fraction is 20.84%,therefore,when selecting the propeller of underwater vehicle and propulsion system,the inhibitory effect of the underwater vehicle on the propeller should be considered,at least the thrust needs to be increased 20.84%.
