Research on flow-excited acoustic radiation from a structure with acoustic coat
Acoustic coat are widely used in the design of noise reduction for underwater vehicles, but relatively little re-search has been done on their flow-excited acoustic radiation. In this paper,we firstly use the uncorrelated plane wave to syn-thesize the turbulent pulsation pressure, and combine the finite element module to establish the numerical algorithm of the flow-excited acoustic radiation, and then use the underwater quadrilateral simply-supported flat plate flow-excited radiation noise as an example to compare and verify with the analytical solution, and then establish the finite element model of the noise radiation from the flat plate of the laying acoustic coat based on the analytical solution of the three-dimensional elastic theory, and finally discuss the mechanism of the flow-excited acoustic radiation from the flat plate of the laying acoustic coat. Finally, the key parameters affecting the noise reduction performance of the coat layer are discussed to provide technic-al support for the acoustic stealth of underwater structures.
