Test and analysis of vibration reduction process measures for marine HVAC air ducts
The typical environment of a ship, where the HVAC ducts generate significant vibration under the excitation of the wind speed and volume in the duct. After the installation of rubber vibration damping elements and silencing devices, the HVAC duct vibration was reduced by up to 10%or more. This test studied the influence of the measures related to the in-stallation of the duct on the vibration of the pipeline, and found that the material parameters such as the thickness and hard-ness of the rubber pad had a complex relationship on the vibration transmission of the duct,in which the vibration reduction effect of the rubber pad increased with the increase of the thickness and eventually tended to stabilize the effect, and the radi-al installation deviation of the hose also had a greater influence on the vibration of the pipeline in all directions, which provided a certain reference for the vibration reduction measures of this type of ship.
