Analytical calculation on the transient voltage regulation of twelve-phase rectifier generator with pulsed power load
Twelve-phase rectifier generator has advantages on smaller DC voltage ripple and more excellent dynamic performance.However,it will be harder to calculate its maximum transient voltage regulation under the pulsed power load due to its higher order and more complex operating modes.Therefore,the analytical method needs to be predigested in which the generator is reduced to the lower order and the DC load is converted to the AC side.The newly established three-phase synchronous generator is essentially equivalent to the twelve-phase generator in external characteristic,based on which the analytical calculation method of the maximum transient voltage regulation of twelve-phase rectifier generator with pulsed power load is given.Finally,a detailed simulation model under Matlab/Simulink environment and a corresponding principle prototype of the twelve-phase rectifier generator are established.Both the results of time-domain simulation and the physical experiment show that the proposed analytical calculation method of minimum output voltage of twelve-phase rectifier gener-ator is sufficiently precise.
