The paper described structural particular factors between polygon spud can and truss legs by using of direct calculation design method.The 2 000 t self-elevating wind turbine installation platform was taken as the research back-ground,based on consideration from classification society.First,the section properties of rack and chord are calculated.Second,four different concept design is researched by using of direct calculation design method.The aim of this paper is provide basis for exploitation about ultra-large self-elevating wind turbine installation platform.
