Technical analysis of submarine hull valves different from pipeline valves
Hull valve is the critical part of a submarine.Different from pipeline valves which serve pipeline system,the submarine hull valve is used to for guarantee submarine vitality and safety.This paper makes comparisons of structures of hull valve and pipeline valves in submarine,and analyzes the differences between them in terms of techniques,elaborates that the integral outboard valve(combination hull and backup valve)is the most advanced structural form for the develop-ment of submarine hull valve,and lastly summarizes the regulations in design of special-type valves.This paper tentatively gives a guideline in the research and development of new-form hull valve especially for deep-diving submarine by means of study,comparison and analysis.
