The fatigue analysis of the inner skin structure of an air-propeller duct of ACV
In view of the problem of cracking in the inner skin structure of an air-propeller duct,the FEM static strength analysis was carried out with measured load and material data,and the fatigue analysis based on nominal stress method was carried out with MSC.Fatigue.According to the results,the improved design of the inner skin structure was carried out.It shows that the inner skin structure of the air-propeller duct should be designed based on fatigue strength requirements and the norminal stress method can be used to evaluate the fatigue strength of the inner skin structure of the air-propeller duct.
