Simulation research on submarines force and maneuvering during sailing near the ice layer
The ice layer can provide good invisibility to submarine and great help for submarine's combat effectiveness. The research on the forces and maneuvering methods of the submarine sailing under the ice layer can provide strong support for the submarine to fulfill its mission. The SUBOFF model is taken as the research object by STAR-CCM+software.The submarine movement near the ice layer at different speeds is numerically calculated and analyzed.By combining the force and moment of the submarine with the six degrees of freedom equation, the motion trend of the submarine near the ice layer is simulated and the maneuvering methods is given. The research shows that:Sailing near the ice layer will affect the depth and attitude of the submarine.Timely use of steering, reducing speed and water transferring by balancing tank can effect-ively control the submarine navigation attitude and depth to avoid the submarine crashing the ice layer.
