Research on virtual simulation of ship assembly process based on digital twin technology
In order to reduce the physical experiments of ship assembly,provide visualization and interactive design of the assembly process,detect potential assembly problems in advance,and study the virtual simulation method of ship as-sembly process based on digital twin technology.Build a digital twin architecture for virtual simulation of ship assembly pro-cess.The digital space receives various process data of ship assembly process feedback from physical space through interact-ive interfaces.By mapping the digital twin of assembly process,a ship assembly digital twin model is constructed.Combin-ing the bounding box method and improved A*algorithm,collision detection and assembly path planning of ship assembly are carried out to achieve various assembly process planning and virtual simulation in the ship assembly process.Based on the virtual simulation results,efficient and reasonable assembly process guidance is provided for ship assembly in physical space,and the file is transmitted to the physical space through interactive interfaces for better meeting actual ship assembly requirements.The experimental results show that the application of this method can effectively correct incorrect ship as-sembly sequence,guide the assembled body to smoothly reach and perfectly embed into the ideal assembly position,and achieve collision free assembly.
