Design of minimum resistance ship form based on nonlinear programming method
The minimum resistance ship design can effectively reduce fuel consumption and pollutant emissions.Ship shape design is a multi-objective optimization process.In this paper,a minimum-resistance ship shape design method based on nonlinear programming method is proposed,the design process is analyzed in detail,the design variables are defined and selected,and the design constraints are determined.The application of genetic algorithm to the minimum-resistance ship shape design is proposed,and the ship shape structure and the transverse profile of the optimized front half body are given.The wave-generating resistance coefficient,frictional resistance coefficient and shape resistance coefficient before and after optimization are calculated and compared,and the results show that the nonlinear programming method can effectively re-duce the ship resistance,and the ship wave-generating resistance coefficient is greatly reduced.
