Longitudinal strength analysis of ships with large side openings
For ships with large side openings due to arrangement requirements,in order to efficiently and accurately as-sess the longitudinal strength of ships with large side openings,a simplified assessment method is proposed for the longitud-inal strength of ships with large side openings.Targeting a Ro/Ro passenger ship with large side openings,the longitudinal strength of opening areas is assessed using this method,and the influence of openings on the longitudinal bending strength is analyzed.Idea and data reference can be provided for the longitudinal strength assessment of ships with above character,and it has a certain guidance for the structural design of relevant areas.
