Application of numerical calculation of wave drag increase in high-speed ship shape design
The high speed ship can effectively reduce the wave drag through the ship shape design,so as to achieve the purpose of rapid rescue at sea.In this paper,the numerical calculation methods of wave drag increase are studied,including potential flow two-dimensional slice method and RANS/LES mixed method.The principle of the two methods is described,and the frequency response function of wave drag increase is compared.In order to reduce the wave drag and improve the stability,the potential flow two-dimensional slice method and the RANS/LES hybrid method are used to calculate the wave drag before and after the optimization.The results show that the two methods can realize the numerical calculation of the wave drag.The RANS/LES hybrid method has higher calculation accuracy and is more suitable for evaluating the complex hydrodynamic performance.
