Motion response analysis of cylindrical FPSO based on Workbench
As the offshore oil and gas exploration in our country continues to develop in the deep water direction,cyl-indrical FPSO has been gradually popularized in the deep water environment. In order to master the hydrodynamic character-istics and response characteristics of this new type of platform, the Shell Penguin FPSO operating in the North Sea of the United Kingdom is taken as the research object, and its main structural parameters are determined. The hydrodynamic model of cylindrical FPSO is established by using Ansys/Workbench finite element software, and the preliminary hydrodynamic analysis and strength check of its structure are carried out.The time domain motion response was compared under different environmental working conditions, and the hydrodynamic performance of cylindrical FPSO was analyzed. Finally, the time domain motion response analysis and parameter comparison were carried out by changing the cylindrical FPSO shape size, and the influence of its shape change on hydrodynamic performance was studied.
