Analysis of load sharing characteristics of gear reducer in large ships
The gear reducer plays an important role in the power system of large ships.This paper takes the planetary gear reducer of ship as the research object,expounds the working principle of the planetary gear reducer,analyzes the cause of the uneven load of the planetary gear reducer.Internal gear installation error,external gear installation error and star gear thickness error all have influence on load sharing coefficient.The dynamic parameters of planetary gear reducer were calcu-lated and load sharing characteristics of external meshing pair and internal meshing pair were analyzed.The results show that there are uneven loads in both external and internal meshing pairs under the influence of various errors.Finally,the influ-ence of single error on load balancing coefficient is studied.The research results of this paper have important practical signi-ficance for improving the life of gear reducer in large ships.
