Calculation and analysis of wave-induced loads of self-elevated platform
Wave-induced loads and inertial loads are the critical basis of self-elevated platform design. The relationship between wave parameters and wave-induced loads and inertial loads are complicated. The determination of wave-induced loads and inertial loads are always one of the key points and difficulties for the self-elevated platform design and calculation.Based on Morison equation, taking a self-elevated platform for example, this study uses hydrodynamic software to analyze the influence of wave period and wave height upon wave-induced loads, and discuss the way to determine maximum wave-induced loads and wave-induced total loads(wave-induced loads+inertial loads). The envelope curve of wave-induced loads and wave-induced total loads is proposed.,which provides reference for the self-development and innovation of subsequent self-elevated platform.
