Comparison of Slaughter performance and Meat Traits of Yushan Black Pig and Barke summer and Long White Tow-way Cross Breed
To compare the difference between slaughter performance and meat traits of Bayu and Chan-gyu two-way cross breed, the experiment selected two nests of Barke Summer × Yushan Black pig, Chang-bai× Yushan Black pig of same ages and close weight as the material to raise under the same feeding model. The tested pigs were slaughtered when the mean weight reached 135 kg (350 dage) according to NY/ T825 -2004 method. The results showed that there was extreme difference between two groups on body weight, bark thickness, papar rate, water loss rate, a* and fat content (P<0. 01), there was significant difference between two groups on eye muscle area, average back fat thickness and fat percentage (P<0. 05). The content of SA, Linoleic, Arachidic and ARA were higher than that of Bayu group, among which SA was 14. 75% higher than that of the latter, with a'significant difference (P>0. 05), but the general difference of the two groups were insignificant (P>0. 05).
