Constructing the Welfare Evaluation System of Grazing Sheep
The experiment was to construct a grazing sheep welfare evaluation system in order to evaluate sheep welfare and improve the welfare level.The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) was used to establish the welfare evaluation system structure model, combined with Delphi Method for screening and prioritization of welfare evaluation index, and then the judgment matrix was established, the weight of each index was calculated in MATLAB software.Results show that physiological welfare is the most important for principle layer to target layer, with a weight value 43.80%, followed by environmental welfare 21.90%, health welfare 14.60%, psychological welfare 10.94%, and behavior welfare 8.76%.While feed and drinking water becomes the most important for index layer to the target layer, the weight value being 19.91%.And the importance degree is minor, with a weight value less than 1%, followed by interspecies relation0.96%, activity 0.81%, aftereffect 0.65%, fighting behavior 0.54%, sexual behavior 0.46%, and abnormal behavior 0.40 %.Results show that feed and water are the most important physiological welfare index of grazing sheep, abnormal behavior is the smallest behavior welfare index.
