Study on the Adoption of Environmental Protection Technology by Pig Farmers Based on the Stratified Model
Based on the survey data of 736 farmers in 4 provinces, the influence of pig farmers on the a-doption of environmental protection technology was analyzed by stratified model. The estimation of zero model showed that the factors at the village level and farmers themselves had an impact on the adoption of environmental protection technology. The results of random intercept model estimate showed that there were differences in the adoption of environmental protection techniques by pig farmers of different farming scales and different income levels.Among them,large-scale farmers were significantly affected by environ-mental perception and environmental regulation, while small-scale farmers were affected by complaints, age, government inspection and subsidy, etc. The common factors included management regulation of a-bandoned wastes, age, and subsidies for farmers of different income levels. It was therefore put forward to set up environmental protection policy, popularize environmental protection technology and training, and actively innovate pollution control technology according to local conditions,so as to provide a theoretical basis for the extension of environmental protection technology for pig breeding, and then effectively con-trol the no-point pollution.
