Study on PBL Case Teaching of Livestock Environmental Hygiene——Taking the Planning and Selection of Ranch Site
PBL case teaching method is a pedagogical approach that centers on problem-solving,using cases to stimulate students'thinking and discussion,thereby fostering creativity,practical thinking and ef-fective problem solving skills.This paper explores the application of PBL case teaching in the context of the course Livestock Environmental Hygiene,with specific focus on ranch planning.This paper provides a detailed account of the case library construction for ranch planning,the case analysis,and the design of case teaching course which includes lead-in questions,case introduction,group discussion,debate and presentation,afterclass assignments and reflective summaries.The aim of this case-based approach is to stimulate critical thinking and discussion among students,enabling them to acquire knowledge and practi-cal experience from cases,and enhance their problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to better pre-pare them to future professional demands.
