Effects of Dandelion on Growth Performance and Immune Ability of Livestock and Poultry
With the increasing societal demand for quality meat,eggs and milk,the adverse effects of antibiotics in the process of livestock production need to be solved urgently.Dandelion,as a traditional me-dicinal and edible homologous plant,has a certain potential to replace antibiotics as feed additives because of its rich pharmacological value and wide sources.This paper summarizes the research progress of dandeli-on on the growth performance and immune capacity of livestock,poultry and fish,as well as the research on the immune-enhancing ability of dandelion on livestock and poultry at molecular level.The aim is to provide insights into the application of dandelion in livestock and poultry production.
