In order to explore the differences in nutritional components of tea seed cakes in different re-gions,the tea seed cakes in Guangxi,Henan and Hunan were selected in this experiment.The national standard method,HPLC and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry were used to measure the routine nu-tritional components,amino acids and fatty acids.The results showed that the crude protein content and dry matter content of camellia seed cake in Henan were 1.83%and 0.61%higher than those in Guangxi,with significant difference(P<0.05).The crude fat content and ash content of of tea seed calce in Henan were lower than in Hunan and Guangxi,which were(0.43%,1.19%)and(1.62%,1.71%),respectively.The total amino acids,essential amino acids and non-essential amino acids in Henan tea seed cake were 0.07%,0.02%and 0.05%higher than those in Guangxi tea seed cake,and 0.10%,0.01%and 0.10%higher than those in Hunan area.The types of fatty acids in Henan tea seed cake and Hunan tea seed cake were better than those in Guangxi tea seed cake.The content of saturated fatty acids in Hunan tea seed cake was 1.1 times higher than that in Henan area,and the difference was significant(P<0.05).The content of methyl linoleate(C18:2)in Henan tea seed cake was 2.0%and 2.4%higher than that in Guangxi tea seed cake and Hunan tea seed cake,respectively.The content of methyl palmitate(C16:0)in Hunan tea seed cake was 1.47%and 1.76%higher than that in Henan and Guangxi tea seed cake,respectively,with signifi-cant difference(P<0.05).In summary,the nutritional composition of tea seed cake in Henan is superior to that in Hunan and Guangxi.
