Research on the Legalization Path of Teachers'Professional Ethics Construction in Universities under the Background of'Double First-Class Initiative'
The proposal of'Double First-Class Initiative'has put forward higher requirements for university teachers and explicitly stated that teachers'professional ethics should be the primary criteria for evaluating the quality of the teaching team.As a long-term project,the construction of teachers'professional ethics focuses on clarifying the core position of the rule of law,ensuring the realization of legal order and promoting the change in mindset.Since the founding of the People's Republic of China,the construction of teachers'professional ethics in universities has gone through four stages:exploration and development,system construction,policy deepening and continuous advancement,gradually entering a track of institutionalization,standardization,and legalization.However,there are still practical issues in the construction of teachers'professional ethics in universities,such as the formalization of systems,the need for improvement in legal procedures,and a weak understanding of the law.Therefore,this paper suggests that a comprehensive approach should be taken from the national rule of law guarantees,the institutional construction of universities,and the legal literacy of teachers,to promote the legalization process of teachers'professional ethics construction in universities under the'Double First-Class Initiative'background.This will comprehensively improve the effectiveness of moral education and promote the high-quality development of education.
