Simulation Analysis of Drag Reduction and Shovel Loading Strategy of Loader Based on DEM-MBD Coupling
In the process of shoveling materials,loaders are often subject to large shoveling resistance,which reduces their operat-ing efficiency and increases energy consumption.To solve the problem,the drag reduction and shovel loading strategy of loader was stud-ied.The shoveling resistance of the loader in the process of loading materials was analyzed,the mathematical model of the shoveling re-sistance of the loader in each operation stage was established,and the resistance drag reduction and shovel loading strategy of the loader was proposed.The virtual prototype model of the loader was established by ADAMS,and its dynamic simulation was carried out.The par-ticle model of the shovel material and the relevant parameters were set up by EDEM;based on the DEM-MBD joint simulation,the shovel loading process of the loader was simulated by using two shovel loading strategies.Finally,the velocity vector of material move-ment and the change curve of shoveling resistance in the two shovel loading strategies were obtained and compared.The results show that the maximum shoveling resistance value of the material loaded by the loader using the drag reduction and shovel loading strategy is 11.3%less than that by the one-time shoveling method,and the shoveling resistance generated by the drag reduction and shovel load-ing strategy is generally less than that generated by the one-time shoveling method in most of the time,which proves the feasibility and rationality of the drag reduction and shovel loading strategy.
