Abstract
This paper focuses on the political philosophy of Liu Zongyuan,a great literary writer,thinker and politician in the Mid-Tang Dynasty,which is"people-oriented and willing to serve the people",analyzes and discusses its origin,formation and development,as well as its practice and achievements from multiple dimensions,fully affirms the philosophical,political and social governance value of Liu Zongyuan's"service for the people"philosophy,and positively evaluates its historical and contemporary significance.
