Effect of triple antibiotic paste combined with CGF on revascularization of young permanent teeth
Objective To investigate the impact of triple antibiotic paste(TAP)combined with concentrated growth factor(CGF)on revascularization in young permanent teeth. Methods A total of 154 young patients with pulp necrosis of permanent teeth admitted to our hospital from June 2019 to June 2021 were selected and divided into CGF group(77 cases)and blood clot group(77 cases)by random number table method. The blood clot group was treated with TAP combined with blood clot stent while CGF group was treated with while AP combined with CGF stent.Clinical efficacy, root length, root canal wall thickness, bite force and inflammation index were compared between the two groups. Results The overall effective rate of CGF group was significantly higher than that of blood clot group(χ2=4.863,P<0.05).6 months after operation the root length, root canal wall thickness and bite force of the CGF group were significantly higher than those of the blood clot group(t=2.235,3.596,4.092,P<0.05).The levels of serum interleukin-1β,interleukin-6 and tumor necrosis factor-α in CGF group were lower than those in blood clot group at 3 months after operation(t = 5.453,3.937,3.891,P<0.05).There were no significant differences in gingival swelling, fillings loss, recurrence rate of periapical inflammation and tooth discoloration rate between 2 groups(P>0.05).Conclusion TAP combined with CGF is effective in blood revascularization of young permanent teeth, which can effectively reduce inflammation, promote root development, and improve teeth's bite force.
